- Call let her know of your love and support.
- Send prayer cards. Keep her in your daily prayers and let her know specifically how you are praying for her.
- Organize a meal calendar with friends and family.
- Offer to run errands
- Hat Shower- give a shower for your friend. Have everyone bring a cool hat for your friend.
- Organize a card making day. The cards will be given to her for thank you's at a later date.
- Send flowers (bright, cheerful bouquets)
- Send a new tube of lip stick or your favorite chap stick.
- Take out! Bring her favorite foods home and enjoy them with her in comfy clothes.
- Bring a loaf of warm bread over and share the experience with her, and of course do the clean up. Slice it up and freeze it, so she can enjoy it later as well.
- Bring over an assortment of herbal teas.
- Create fun "do not disturb" sings for her to use if she needs some alone time. Great for the bathroom door to take that long relaxing bath or an afternoon nap. don't forget bath products.
- Breakfast in bed is always a hit, don't forget the flowers to brighten up the tray.
- Drive your friend around so she can more easily do those errands, it will take some of the stress out of errands and make them more fun at the same time.
- Pamper your friend with paraffin wax treatment, the warm wax does wonder for circulation and makes your hands soft and smooth. Also great for sore, tired feet as well.
- Before she looses her hair offer to get it cut short and sassy.
- Arrange for a massage therapist to come to the house or if she is feeling up for it a gift certificate to a spa.
- Keep calling your friend, if she says she's not up to it keep offering to help.
